Privacy Policy

1) What we collect

A. Account information

• Email address (for one-time passcode (OTP) login and account access)
• Apple Sign-In / Google Sign-In identifiers (if you choose those login methods)

B. Journal content you choose to save

• Your entries and responses related to Adversity (A) , Belief (B) , Consequence (C) , and optionally Disputation (D) and Energization (E)
• Optional tags, titles, and any notes you add

C. Purchase and subscription information

• Subscription status (e.g., active/inactive), entitlement/access level, and purchase receipts needed to verify purchases
• We do not collect or store your full payment card details. Payments are processed by Apple App Store / Google Play (and our subscription/purchase tooling).

D. App/device and diagnostics information

• Device and app information (e.g., app version, device type, operating system version)
• Logs needed to keep the app working (crash reports, error logs, performance diagnostics)

E. Analytics / tracking (current state)

We do not run in-app ads and we do not intentionally use third-party remarketing services. We may receive aggregated analytics from platform providers (for example, Google Play or Apple) or from diagnostics services that help us understand app reliability.

If we add additional analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, offer choices/consent.

• Provide the service (create your account, sign you in, sync your entries)
• Send OTP login codes to your email (and only for login/account access)
• Run AI analysis if you request it (see Section 3)
• Verify subscriptions/consumables and enforce usage limits (including fair-use limits)
• Security and fraud prevention (protect accounts and prevent abuse)
• App reliability (debugging, crash fixes, performance improvements)
• Legal compliance (tax/accounting records as required, responding to lawful requests)

4) Where your information is stored

• Cloud storage: We store your account and journal data in our database so you can sync across devices.
• Service providers: We use infrastructure providers to host the backend and deliver AI features.

5) Who we share information with

We share information only as needed to operate LearnedGrowth:

• Authentication providers: Apple and Google (if you choose those login methods)
• Email delivery provider(s): to send OTP login codes
• Cloud database/backend provider(s): for secure storage and sync
• AI provider(s): only when you request AI analysis
• App stores: Apple and Google for purchase processing and verification
• Legal: if required by law, or to protect rights/safety

6) Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

• Journal entries: retained until you delete them or delete your account (subject to backups and legal requirements)
• OTP emails: used for login and not for marketing
• Purchase records: retained as required for accounting and compliance

7) Your choices and controls

• Edit/delete entries: You can edit or delete journal content inside the app.
• AI features: You can choose not to use AI analysis.
• Account deletion: You can request account deletion (see Contact section).

8) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your data. No system can be 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

9) Children’s privacy

LearnedGrowth is not intended for children under 13 . We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10) International users

If you use LearnedGrowth outside Canada, your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. We take steps designed to protect your information consistent with this policy and applicable law.

11) GDPR (EEA/UK) privacy rights

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, you may have rights including:

• Access to your personal data
• Correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion (erasure) in certain cases
• Restriction or objection to certain processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

Lawful bases (general)

Depending on context, we process personal data to perform a contract (provide the app), comply with legal obligations, protect legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention), and, where required, based on your consent.

12) CCPA + CPRA (California) notice

This section applies to California residents. We collect and use personal information as described above. In the last 12 months, we may have collected these categories (depending on your usage):

• Identifiers: email address; account IDs
• Internet or electronic activity: app interactions, diagnostics, crash logs
• Customer records: subscription status and purchase verification data
• Sensitive personal information: journal text may contain sensitive information you choose to provide

• Provide and maintain the service
• Security and fraud prevention

• Debugging and improving app reliability
• Processing purchases/subscriptions

Selling or sharing

We do not sell your personal information . We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your California rights

• Right to know/access the personal information we collected about you
• Right to delete personal information (with certain exceptions)
• Right to correct inaccurate personal information
• Right to opt out of selling/sharing (we do not sell/share as defined above)
• Right to limit use/disclosure of sensitive personal information (we use it to provide the service)
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights

13) CalOPPA (California Online Privacy Protection Act)

• This Privacy Policy describes the categories of personal information we may collect and how we use it.
• You can review changes to this policy by checking the “Last Updated” date at the top.
• We do not run behavioral advertising in the app.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. There is no uniform industry standard for DNT. At this time, LearnedGrowth does not respond to DNT signals.

14) Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, through the app or by updating the policy on our website).
